As I am sure many of you have noticed, the forum has been down for 6 days, starting Saturday 2. of July 2011.
The downtime was caused by heavy rainfall, literally flooding the hosting center - killing all electricity including the backup generators. Luckily no data was lost in the flooding due to excellent backups.
The BE licensing service and repository was only affected for less than 24 hours, meaning all licenses purchased while the forum has been down, was still instantly delivered.
I am sure my hosting provider will do everything they can to ensure this wont repeat itself. In any case though, according to weather predictions, a rainfall as heavy as this one, shouldn't rage above us for at least another 500 years.
I am really sorry for the inconvenience, and look very much forward to working on new and exciting macros with you guys on the forum continuing from today.
